CHRISTOPHER A. HERR
Managing Director
Mr. Herr has been a member of Oxford’s business development team since 2002. He is responsible for business development for life sciences and healthcare services companies worldwide. Before joining Oxford, Mr. Herr established the Southwest operations for Charter Financial, which provided debt capital to venture-backed, life sciences companies. Previously, he had been co-founder and executive vice president of Coghill Capital Management. He has taught numerous public seminars as well as lectured at Penn State University on the topics of equity investing, portfolio management and estate planning. He is currently a board member on several privately held companies. Mr. Herr holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from the London Business School.

MARC A. CHABOT
Senior Director
Mr. Chabot joined Oxford in 2002 and serves clients in New England, New York and eastern Canada. He is responsible for the origination of loans in the life sciences area and maintains relationships with venture capitalists to support the debt needs of their portfolio companies. Mr. Chabot has been in the venture lending field for over 15 years, starting with his position at LINC, heading up its East Coast office. After leaving LINC in 1999, he founded CTT Financial and was an advisor to venture-backed companies looking for equipment financing. He received a B.A. from Trinity College, with honors in Economics and History.

DEBBIE J. BAKER
Director
Ms. Baker has over 30 years of financial experience, focusing predominantly on the healthcare industry. She is responsible for originating financings for life sciences companies, primarily in western North America. Before joining Oxford, Ms. Baker was executive vice president for Capital Advisors Group, providing investment management services primarily to public and private life sciences and medical device companies. She also held positions as regional business development director for Questpoint, treasurer for MFS Intelenet, assistant treasurer at ASK Computer Systems, vice president of Corporate Finance and Debt for Sierra Capital Companies and treasurer for Consolidated Capital, which operated five publicly traded REITS and 22 real estate limited partnerships. Ms. Baker received a B.A. in Speech Communications and an M.B.A. from University of Denver.

JUSTIN R. MCDONIE
Director
Mr. McDonie joined Oxford in 2007 and has underwritten over $250 million of credit to biotechnology and medical device companies. He is currently responsible for originating financings for United States life sciences companies in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast. In addition, he manages relationships with premier venture capital firms and is a liaison to several of Oxford’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Oxford, he was an analyst at Capital Automotive where he underwrote over $500 million in acquisitions and managed a portion of a $3.7 billion portfolio. Mr. McDonie holds a B.A. in Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College.

KILLU T. SANBORN, Ph.D.
Director
Dr. Sanborn is responsible for originating financings for life sciences companies, primarily in western North America. She has over 20 years of experience in this industry as a venture debt lender and equity investor, banker, executive and entrepreneur. Her previous positions include managing director at Hercules Technology Growth Capital, senior vice president of Comerica Bank, principal/fund manager at IngleWood Ventures, director of Technology Commercialization at Stratagene and vice president of Business Development at Phenogenex. Over the years, Dr. Sanborn has also advised entrepreneurial boards and management teams on operational, financial and strategic matters. She received a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Cornell University/Sloan-Kettering Institute.

ADAM K. SOLLER
Director
Mr. Soller has almost 10 years lending experience with life sciences and real estate companies. In his current role, he identifies prospective clients and facilitates loan originations in North America, Europe, Israel and Australia. He also assists Oxford’s clients with their pursuits of licensing and supply chain agreements in Japan. Before joining Oxford, Mr. Soller was an analyst in the Acquisitions Group of Capital Automotive, a real estate investment trust, where he underwrote over $1 billion in transactions and managed a portion of a $2.5 billion portfolio. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Business, with a concentration in Financial Management from the Virginia Military Institute. |
